Lahore Qalandars enter this contest on the back of a good win over Rawalpindiz, winning by 32 runs. The win helped them bounce back after a couple of losses. They are yet in the play-off race but have to keep winning. The fact that they are playing at home will undoubtedly add to their confidence levels and captain Shaheen Afridi will be eager to lead from the front.

Quetta Gladiators have come under pressure after a crushing defeat against Peshawar Zalmi. They have won three of their eight games and need to get the better of this game to keep their hopes alive. In the previous game, Quetta had easily chased down 135 runs to beat Lahore. Captain Saud Shakeel will be looking for a good show from his side
