 The former PAK skipper revealed that the Pakistan dressing room was often scared of Khan’s personality. “We were absolutely scared of his personality because he was a no-nonsense kind of a guy,” he said. He also praised Khan’s unmatched energy and obsession with the game, saying, “He was restless, like a ten-year-old talking about the game all the time.”

Raja also recalled how Khan would pad up at No. 7 even before the openers walked out to bat. “When we were going out to bat as openers, he had already padded up at number seven,” Raja said. He added that Khan would practise his pull shot with a tennis ball whenever he was not sitting still, highlighting his remarkable dedication to the game.

Pakistan's batting woes continue in England Test Series

Pakistan’s batting woes continued in the second Test against England as they were bowled out for just 110 runs in their first innings. Azan Awais was their top scorer with 46, while Saud Shakeel (16), Babar Azam (8) and Mohammad Rizwan (7) failed to make a big impact.

England’s bowlers dominated the Pakistan batting lineup, with Ollie Robinson taking four wickets and Jofra Archer claiming three. Josh Tongue also picked up two wickets as Pakistan lost wickets regularly and were dismissed in just 37.2 overs.
