The wicket-keeper opening batter of the Indian side, Sanju Samson, and the former assistant coach of the blue brigade, Abhishek Nayar, were seen putting on a duet performance on the famous Bollywood song ‘Phela Nasha’ as the video went viral around social media platforms. 

Sanju Samson was one of the biggest contributors of the T20 World Cup 2026 with the help of 321 runs in five innings at an average of 80.25 and a strike rate of 199.37 with the help of three half-centuries at the best score of unbeaten 97 runs. He notched up three successive fifties of the event during the knockouts of the tournament.

Samson, after a break of a few days, will head to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, where he is expected to open the batting for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in a new chapter after leaving his long-time franchise, the Rajasthan Royals. 

Sanju Samson and Abhishek Nayar’s fun musical moment goes viral on social media

The performance of the duet song between Samson and Nayar went viral. It was about the famous Bollywood song- ‘Pesha Nesha’ as it brought a new romantic atmosphere in the room. The song has always been pleasing for the fans in the voice of Udit Narayan. Both Samson and Nayar enjoyed the song.

Abhishek Nayar has been appointed as the head coach of the KKR side for the 2026 season of the IPL, as he replaced outgoing Chandrakant Pandit. The former Indian player has been involved with the KKR side since 2018 as the batting coach and mentor, and is famous for nurturing the young talents.
