In Match 6 of the 2025 Shpageeza Cricket League (SCL), Mis-e-Ainak Knights beat Boost Defenders by 18 runs at Kabul International Cricket Stadium. After winning the toss and electing to bat, the Knights scored a competitive total of 177/5 in their 20 overs. In response, the Defenders faltered in their chase and finished at 159/7.

Mis-e-Ainak Knights Innings

Mis-e-Ainak Knights made full use of the batting conditions after electing to bat first. Wafiullah anchored the innings with a fluent 59 off 43 balls, setting the tone with some elegant stroke play. He was well supported by Sohail Khan, who struck a quick 48 off just 31 deliveries to accelerate the scoring. Khalid Taniwal’s cameo of 29 off 17 balls provided late momentum to push the total to 177/5. Boost Defenders struggled to contain the flow of runs, although Abdul Rahman Rahmani impressed with 3/35 from his 4 overs.

Boost Defenders Innings

Pursuing 178 for a win, Boost Defenders started steadily but lost important wickets at regular intervals. Wasim Akram kept the innings together with a composed 56 from 46 deliveries but did not have consistent backup from the middle order. Skipper Najibullah Zadran top-scored with a quick 26 from 19, whereas Bilal Ahmad Tarin chipped in with a quicker 17, but the rest of the team failed under pressure. In bowling, Mujeeb-ur-Rahman's 2/14 and Khalil Gurbaz's 2/16 were decisive in strangulating the run flow. Defenders failed by 18 runs, managing 159/7 in 20 overs.
