The second season of The Traitors India is set to feature a star-studded lineup of celebrities from television, digital entertainment and social media. The makers have officially confirmed Munawar Faruqui and Mallika Sherawat as contestants. The reality show, hosted by Karan Johar, will begin streaming on Prime Video from August 13, 2026.

According to reports, the new season will also feature Shweta Tiwari, Abhishek Malhan (Fukra Insaan), Aditya Kulshrestha (Kullu), Rhea Chakraborty, Shalini Passi, Dalip Tahil, Elvish Yadav, Rubina Dilaik, Soundous Moufakir, Krystle D'Souza, Parul Gulati, Harman Baweja and Shahneel Gill, along with several other contestants. A total of 21 celebrities will compete in the strategy-based reality show.

The show was filmed at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, where the contestants spent around two weeks shooting with host Karan Johar. Shubman Gill returns to No. 1 in ICC ODI batters' rankings, overtakes Daryl Mitchell

Shubman Gill has returned to the No. 1 spot in the ICC ODI batters' rankings, reclaiming the top position after an impressive performance against England. The India captain scored 188 runs in the three-match ODI series in mid-July, helping him move ahead in the latest rankings. This is the third time Gill has reached the top of the ICC ODI batting rankings.

Gill's rise was also helped by New Zealand's Daryl Mitchell, who missed the last two ODIs against the West Indies due to injury. Mitchell's absence allowed Gill to overtake him and regain the No. 1 ranking. In Test cricket, the West Indies defeated Pakistan by 90 runs in the first Test of their World Test Championship series in Tarouba.

The Traitors 2 will premiere on Prime Video on August 13, 2026. The reality show will stream every Thursday and will feature 21 celebrity contestants competing in a game of strategy, trust and deception. The second season promises more twists, mind games and intense competition.
