T20 Mumbai Women’s League to be held alongside men’s event at Wankhede Stadium from June 1–13
The inaugural T20 Mumbai Women’s League will be held alongside the men’s T20 Mumbai League from June 1 to 13 at Wankhede Stadium, featuring top domestic stars and emerging talent.

The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has officially announced that the inaugural edition of the T20 Mumbai Women’s League will take place at Wankhede Stadium during the period from June 1 to June 13 which marks the fourth season of the men’s T20 Mumbai League.

The implementation of this plan represents an important advancement for the development framework of Mumbai cricket because both tournaments will compete with each other for their first shared time period. The MCA plans to use this project as a means to give upcoming players from both the men and women divisions better chances to play and develop their skills.
Women’s tournament to run parallel with men’s T20 Mumbai League in 2026 edition
The first women's tournament will present a competitive field which includes leading domestic cricketers and rising stars from Mumbai's cricketing community. The competition will include players from the roster which includes Sayali Satghare, Saima Thakor, Humaira Kazi, Sanika Chalke and Simran Shaikh. Ira Jadhav who became the most expensive player at the women's auction has quickly become a major celebrity.

The men's tournament will showcase top athletes from Mumbai and India who include Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Ajinkya Rahane, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shivam Dube and Shardul Thakur.
Wankhede Stadium set to host matches across both competitions
All matches of both leagues will be played at the Wankhede Stadium, giving young players a chance to perform at one of India’s most iconic cricket venues. The MCA also confirmed that the matches will be broadcast live on Star Sport and streamed digitally on JioHotstar, allowing fans across the country to follow the action.
MCA president Ajinkya Naik stated that conducting both tournaments together reflects the association’s commitment towards building a stronger and more inclusive cricket ecosystem in Mumbai. The T20 Mumbai League has already helped several players progress to higher levels of cricket in previous seasons, and the introduction of the women's league is expected to further improve the city's cricket development system.
