While the Pakistan bowlers were on top, Indian cricketer Tilak Varma smashed two back-to-back boundaries, one of which was a much-needed six.
Chasing down the 147-run target in the Asia Cup 2025 Final, India were down to 20/3 at the end of four overs, as both the in-form openers Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill, and the struggling skipper Suryakumar Yadav, were dismissed cheaply. Surely, the Men in India are under pressure in the crucial chase at the Final, but Tilak Varma hasn't lost his confidence yet.

Tilak Varma smashed a six to Faheem Ashraf in the final over of the powerplay
It was the last over of the powerplay, while Faheem Ashraf continued his spell, as he had already dismissed both the Indian openers in his first two overs. On the third and fourth balls of the sixth over of the innings, Tilak hit one four and then a six to Faheem. The fourth ball was a length delivery down the leg, and Tilak sent the ball over the fine leg fence for a much-needed sixer.

After India sent Pakistan to bat first in the Asia Cup 2025 Final at Dubai, while Pakistan were once dominating at 84/0 and 113/1, their batting faced a huge collapse as India bowled them out for 146 runs. Indian spinners shared eight wickets, with a four-fer for Kuldeep Yadav, who dominated despite having an expensive spell in his first two overs of the match. Also, the Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah delivered strongly at the end with two wickets. Pakistan lost their last nine wickets for only 33 runs, as the Men in Blues made a strong comeback in the game. However, the Pakistan pacers provided strong starts in the powerplay, as the Final match has taken a tense moment.
