An incredible sight at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, Rajasthan. Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals are facing each other in match number 59 of the IPL 2025. While everyone was busy talking about the possible outcomes of the match, a surprise was waiting in the stadium.
As per guidelines, players from both teams and umpires were present on the ground for the national anthem of India. Spectators were getting off their seats; no matter how many times a player or an individual visited a ground during a match, the national anthem of India, when it starts to echo all over the stadium with the tricolor flag on a giant screen, becomes a moment that an Indian will never want to forget.
The same was true when Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals cricketers gathered in the field for the national anthem. But the special thing about today's match is that the national flag of India was also on the screen with the words 'Thank you, armed forces' in the display along with the national anthem of India.

The ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) went through a period of uncertainty due to rising military tensions between India and Pakistan. The terror attack incident in Pehelgam triggered India to ignite Operation Sindoor, which destroyed 9 militant locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

The rising tension between two neighboring nations caused a major reason for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to think about the security of all persons related to IPL 2025. After examining the situation, the board postponed the tournament for a week and then resumed it on May 17 after the governments of both nations agreed to a ceasefire. It was the Indian armed forces that stood tall when the country needed them the most, and because of them, locations near the border can take a peaceful sleep at night.
