Twitter Reactions: Cameron Green brings up 34-ball fifty during the GT vs KKR clash in IPL 2026
Here is how the Twitter reacted to Cameron Green celebrating his maiden half-century of the IPL 2026 for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in 34 balls against the Gujarat Titans.

When Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) lost three wickets inside the power play during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 clash against the Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, it felt like the same issue would put the visitors under pressure with another flop show with the bat.
They had Cameron Green walking at number four. But the right-handed batter managed only 56 runs in five innings of the IPL 2026 at a very poor average. In the previous contest, he had no idea of the googly against Noor Ahmed to be dismissed for a golden duck. His position in the team was also under the scanner.

At the start of his innings, the Australian batter was asked several tough questions around the off stump, where he threw his bat and got saved from getting the outside edge. He fought hard to somehow make his way to eight runs off 14 balls.
But he welcomed Prasidh Krishna with a relieved boundary, rocking back in the crease and pulling the short ball into the deep mid-wicket region for one bounce. The story of the evening in a nutshell was how he counterattacked Rashid Khan around the park.
He advanced down the wicket and swung his willow against the length delivery of Ashok Sharma to put the ball over the wide long-on region for a massive six to complete his half-century in just 34 balls. And the next over was simply entertaining between Green and Rashid.

The right-handed batter went in his back foot and pulled the short ball over the deep mid-wicket region for a massive six before getting an outside edge while coming down the track as the ball rolled past the wicket-keeper, Jos Buttler, for another boundary. It was followed by getting a life when Washington Sundar dropped a simple running catch before the ball got the rope.
Suddenly, everything seemed to be going towards Green’s way as he made his way to 75 runs in 44 balls. Kolkata, however, soon lost two quick wickets to find themselves 154/6 in the 16th over of the innings.
Brief Scores (at the time of writing): KKR- 166/8 (Cameron Green 76*, Kagison Rabada 3/29) vs GT.
