Once again, off the field, during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, both Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma drew attention with their spiritual visit to Vrindavan, as the video went viral on social media platforms. They appeared in the temple during the brief break from the event for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), who began the event with a hectic schedule.

RCB has been fantastic in their overall performances with bat and ball in hand. The Rajat Patidar-led side has found themselves in the second position of the points table with four victories in six clashes at a net run rate of +1.171, as they experienced the defeat against the Delhi Capitals in their second last game in Bengaluru.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s Vrindavan visit goes viral

The couple visited the ashram of Premanand Ji Maharaj at Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj, where they sought blessings and took part in an ‘Ekantik Vartalaap’, which is a private interaction. The clips have also gone viral, with both Virat Kohli and Anushka being seen sitting quietly among the devotees, listening to the discourse of their guru.

Watch the video here:

This marks their third visit to the place in the last five months, and it’s also their second trip this year. They visited earlier in the year, just after their son, Akaay’s birthday. The couple has also been frequenting spiritual destinations, which reflects a deepening inclination towards his faith in recent years.

The video from the Ashram also displayed them blending in with the gathering, absorbing the teaching very quietly. Their visits have been quite regular these days, with multiple trips being made last year as well.

Kohli enjoys IPL 2026 with decent run

Despite retiring from the shortest format for nearly two years, Kohli hasn’t lost his mojo in the shortest format. After a strong last season with the bat in contributing to their maiden IPL trophy, he has returned with the same flavor.

RCB will be facing the Gujarat Titans in their next clash at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
