Even though India failed to win the third and final ODI of the three-match series against the West Indies at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Stadium in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh, the fun continued among the Indian fielders as the video of Virat Kohli teaching dance steps to Yashasvi Jaiswal went viral.
It wasn’t a great evening for the Shubman Gill-led side in the field, who failed to defend 351 runs in the second innings, with dew playing a major factor in India’s poor bowling unit. The visiting captain, Shai Hope, played a fabulous knock to shoulder them over the winning line.

Yashasvi Jaiswal hasn’t been part of the playing XI in any of the three ODIs of the series as Gill and Rohit Sharma, rich in their respective forms, continued to open the batting for the blue brigade. Jaiswal came in the field during the drinks break as Kohli showed his funny side.

In one of the songs being played at the venue during the break, Kohli moved his body a bit and seemed to teach Jaiswal a few dance steps to which the youngster also tried to emulate the veteran as the funny moment went viral around the social media, quickly.

Both played together in the past during the South Africa series in the ODIs, where Kohli had actually asked Jaiswal to do a dance on the famous Bollywood song ‘Tere Naam’, which shows how the blue brigade always tries to keep the atmosphere cool and calm.

Being at 4/2, India were under immense pressure in the third over of the game before the two half-centurions, Rohit Sharma and Ruturaj Gaikwad, recovered the ship with a century-run stand for the third wicket. But the most impressive knock from the hosts came off KL Rahul’s bat, who smashed an unbeaten 129-run knock off just 87 balls, thanks to 10 boundaries and six sixes.
The West Indies batters were in form. Even after the dismissal of Amir Jangoo on 67, their captain, Shai Hope, didn’t throw his wicket away and remained unbeaten on 162 runs off 143 balls to claim the victory by five wickets with 10 balls to spare.
