Even after posting a massive score of 351 runs on the board during the first innings of the third and final ODI of the series against West Indies at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh, the pressure was on the home side. But Virat Kohli’s superb throw to run out Amir Jangoo helped them a lot in the defence.
The West Indies have been superb with the bat in the series, while batting first. And for the third encounter, they got the advantage of having a target before them along with the dew in the evening, which saw the ball coming on the bat quite nicely.

It wasn’t a strong start with the bat in the game for Kohli, who was dismissed for a golden duck. The ball from Jayden Seales nipped back a little and went through the defence of the right-handed batter to rattle the stumps. It was a sad end to the series for Kohli, who started with a brilliant 139*.

He also dropped a catch in the point region earlier in the bowling. The ball travelled like a rocket to him, and quite surprisingly, he didn’t notice the direction before stretching his left hand at the last moment, failing to grab the ball.
