Match 64 of IPL 2025 did not start according to the plans of Gujarat Titans. In the second over of the first innings, when Arshad Khan was on the verge of delivering his first ball of the match, an unintended incident happened, and for that, the match paused for a while.

Gujarat Titans Indian pacer Arshad Khan is about to deliver his first ball. After a long run-up, he jumped up and is about to land on his right foot. Arshad’s landing turned out to be a horrifying scene; his right foot slipped and bent from the ankle, and then the fast bowler landed on the hard surface just in front of the umpire, by his right shoulder.

The impact was massive; Bowler was in pain, and his facial expressions were expressing it all. Gujarat Titans skipper Shubman Gill rushed to the spot. Other players of GT and the batter for Lucknow Super Giants, without making any delay, came to the non-striking end, while Arshad Khan was trying his best to stand up on his foot, but his right shoulder, where the impact was the most, made the situation harder for him.

Despite his serious incident, he recovered quickly from the incident and was ready to bowl again. The 27-year-old is one of the main bowlers of GT’s bowling lineup with Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Siraj, and others. Khan mainly played the pivotal role between Krishna and Siraj. The combination of bowlers helps Gill to scuffle his teammates according to the situation. So far in 8 IPL 2025 matches of Gujarat Titans, Arshad Khan has claimed 5 scalps with an economy rate of 9.25.
