WATCH: Gautam Gambhir's epic reply makes everyone laugh on the stage

When Gautam Gambhir decided to come out of his shell, it caused a burst of laughter in a Kapil Sharma show. The Team India head coach pitched an epic reply during the live program. Recently a video clip from the program set attracted cricket lovers.

Gautam, on the stage, was accompanied by the star players of the squad, like Rishabh Pant, Abhishek Sharma, and Yuzvendra Chahal. Kapil asked them about the dressing room situation when the team performed below expectations. Pant, maintaining his professionalism, said that when the team is not able to perform well, naturally all of them in the dressing room get tense.

From here, Gambhir took the spotlight with his epic reply. The former cricketer and the head coach of the team said with a smile, 'When the show does not run well, what will be the situation?' Even Kapil Sharma himself couldn't stop himself from laughing after hearing this hilarious reply.

India began their 5-match Test series with an unexpected defeat

Team India is now currently in England for a 5-match Test series. They started off their tour with a defeat in Headingley. Gambhir leads the coaching staff now preparing their boys for the second game, which is scheduled to be held in Edgbaston from July 2. 

India could've won the first match of the series, but their batting collapsed in the lower order twice, their lackluster performance in the fielding, and their lack of support for Jasprit Bumrah caused them a defeat. England won the match by chasing a 371-run target.
