The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by ten runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. It was a stellar performance by the SRH bowlers to restrict CSK within the given runs. The visitors had started the second innings really well, but failed to capitalise on it in the second half as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals.

Heinrich Klaasen pulled off a brilliant catch to dismiss Ayush Mhatre in the SRH vs CSK IPL 2026 match. Fielding at mid-off, Klaasen ran quickly to his left as Mhatre tried to clear the in-field off Nitish Kumar Reddy. The shot didn’t come cleanly and went off the toe end, hanging in the air.
Klaasen judged it well, jumped at the right moment and grabbed the ball with one hand. As he was falling, he showed great control to hold on and make sure it didn’t slip out. The catch brought a big reaction from the crowd, with teammates celebrating the effort. It was an important moment in the game, as it ended Mhatre’s attacking knock and gave Reddy his second wicket.
