Mohammed Siraj on RCB

IPL 2025 has concluded after a high-octane final between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings (RCB vs PBKS). After defeating PBKS, RCB ended their 18-year-long trophy drought and lifted the desired trophy. Multiple cities' former and current cricketers of the club were in a celebratory mood after the successful campaign.

Team India and Gujarat Titans player Mohammad Siraj commented on the historic moment of his former club, Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Siraj was spotted in Mumbai airport in a casual black outfit with white headphones on.

Paparazzi asked the star pacer to comment on the special occasion, and then Siraj replied, "18 saal ki wait (18 years of wait)." The pacer was an integral part of the RCB setup from the 2018 to 2024 season. Before the beginning of IPL 2025, RCB decided not to retain the 31-year-old and let him go.

Siraj individually did a good job in Gujarat Titans' colors

Siraj then joined Gujarat Titans, and there he did some impressive spells. Siraj took 16 wickets from 15 matches in IPL 2025, with a best of 4/17 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Gujarat Titans, led by Shubman Gill, was one of the leading contenders to claim the IPL 2025 title, but they were knocked out from the round of 4 after tasting defeat against Mumbai Indians in a thrilling encounter.

As the IPL season is over, focus has shifted towards the upcoming England vs. India 5-match Test series, where Siraj can play an important role with Jasprit Bumrah. Siraj has played 36 Tests for India and taken 100 wickets at an average of 30.47 and an economy rate of 3.47.
