Watch: MS Dhoni spotted playing with robot camera ahead of clash vs MI in IPL 2026

The El Clásico of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 between the Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is scheduled on April 23 at the iconic Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. The teams are not in the same group, so they will play two games against each other this season. The arch-rivals, who have five IPL trophies each, are struggling to win games, making this encounter both intriguing and crucial.

While MI are playing with some of the best players, including Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, and others, CSK's injury struggles continue. Their star batter, Ayush Mhatre, was ruled out of the tournament due to a hamstring injury. Now, the franchise is stuck with finding a replacement for their best batter in the middle of the season. Meanwhile, former CSK skipper MS Dhoni is getting ready to play the IPL 2026. 

MS Dhoni spotted with robot camera ahead of MI clash

The 5-time IPL-winning captain, MS Dhoni, was spotted having some fun with the robot camera ahead of CSK's clash against MI in the IPL 2026. Dhoni, who is yet to play in the tournament, is going through a recovery stage and has started practising once again. The robot camera stood near Dhoni when he tried to replicate the way the camera walks. For the unversed, the robot camera is four-legged, and Dhoni was having fun.

It's not yet confirmed whether Dhoni will play in the upcoming clash or not, but the players will be looking forward to having a great game in Mumbai. It's one of the best stadiums in the world, and MI will have all the support like every year. It will surely be interesting to watch how many CSK fans will be present in the stadium to cheer for their team.
