A few weeks ago, the fresh visuals of the sets went viral, where both were seen to be standing tall on the top of a car, decked out in black task-force uniforms. They had dark shades on their eyes, guns in hand, and a battalion of extras around them. That time, the makers didn’t reveal the details of the show.

Earlier, the famous Bollywood film director, Karan Johar, set the social media buzz when he dripped the playful video by calling Dhoni a ‘lover-boy.’ The clip opened up with candy-pink graphics and floating hearts in a never-before-seen romantic avatar. With his iconic long hair and orange sweatshirt, the veteran was seen clutching a red heart-shaped balloon while reciting.

“If there is something good, he will do it. He has acted in plenty of advertisements. He is not a camera-shy person and has been in front of the camera since 2006.” MS Dhoni’s wife, Shashi, revealed that the former captain isn’t a camera-shy person and would be open to acting if a good script arrives.

There has been speculation around Dhoni turning up for the next Indian Premier League (IPL) season in 2026 for the Chennai Super Kings. He led the side last year in the absence of Ruturaj Gaikwad, who was ruled out from the middle of the event with injury.
