Ravindra Jadeja finally reacted after completing his move from Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to Rajasthan Royals (RR) ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season. On Saturday morning, the IPL governing council confirmed the high-profile swap between Jadeja and Sanju Samson, with Jadeja joining RR for INR 14 crore while Samson moved to CSK for INR 18 crore. The Royals also secured Sam Curran from CSK for INR 2.40 crore as part of their squad restructuring.

Jadeja expressed his happiness about returning to the franchise where his IPL journey started. He said it felt emotional and special to be back with the inaugural IPL champions. The all-rounder highlighted how important the Royals were to his early career and how he hopes to achieve more success with the current group of players.

Jadeja played his first two IPL seasons with the Royals and was famously called a “rockstar” by the late Shane Warne.
