[WATCH] Rohit Sharma loses cool at security guard during net session ahead of Australia ODIs
Watch the video where the opening batter of the Indian side, Rohit Sharma, lost his cool to scold a security guard during the net session ahead of the three-match ODI series against Australia down under.

The veteran Indian opening batter, Rohit Sharma, who was removed from the 50-over captaincy ahead of the three-match ODI series against Australia down under, started his practice at Shivaji Park in Mumbai, a week before the start of the series, as he aims to make a strong return to the comparative cricket since the end of the IPL 2025.
Rohit showcased a heartwarming moment of kindness during the practice session when a young fan tried to approach him but was stopped by the security guard. The 38-year-old was taking a break under the shade before quickly stepping in and scolding the guard and ensuring the child was allowed through. That drew applause from the viewers as the video of the Indian batter went viral on social media.
On the field, Rohit looked in good touch. He played some crisp shots against the Pacers and drove the spinners really well, besides showing his aggressive shots around the park throughout the session. The former Indian assistant and Mumbai batter, Abhishek Nayar, was present in the training along with the young Mumbai cricketer, Angkrish Raghuvanshi.

Under Rohit’s leadership, the Blue Brigade won two ICC titles in a span of nine months. They earned the T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and the United States of America by beating South Africa in the final before winning the Champions Trophy 2025 as they got the better of New Zealand in the final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Many predicted that he would again go for the ODI World Cup 2027 in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia, after missing the chance in the previous edition when they finished as the runners-up, losing the final to Australia. Along with Rohit, Virat Kohli will also mark his return to the game after the IPL.
If the reports are to be believed, then Rohit and Virat have been asked by the board to feature in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 after the Australia series. They may have a few domestic games before turning up to the home season against South Africa and New Zealand.
