WATCH: Shubman Gill reveals reason behind him taking unsuccessful DRS decision; Reason will shock you!!
Gill uncovers the shocking truth behind taking unsuccessful reviews against England in the first two Tests.

India returned to winning ways by handing a terrible trashing to England in the Edgbaston Test. Indian captain Shubman Gill paved the way for a historic Test win, amassing a record-breaking 269 in the first and 161 in the second innings to add to England's misery. In a venue that had traditionally been a hostile battleground for the touring Indians, India defied all odds and successfully managed to breach the Edgbaston fortress to level the series 1-1.
Ahead of the crucial Lord's Test, the Indian team appeared at Yuvraj Singh's charity gala event "YouWeCan" in London. The Indian captain caught the attention of the viewers by making a surprising admission. Despite India winning the second Test convincingly by a whopping margin of 336 runs, Gill did admit that the team did commit howlers in the second Test, especially while taking DRS.
India made three unsuccessful attempts while taking DRS in England's first innings, followed by four unsuccessful attempts during England's second innings. While speaking at the "YouWeCan" event, Gill confessed that the team did not make wise decisions while opting for the DRS. As he points out, that was perhaps the only blemish for team India amidst their euphoric first-ever Test win at Edgbaston.
Furthermore, Gill pointed out the role of Ravi Jadeja and how the pressure from the senior pro compelled him to take those reviews. Besides, he further added that he often found it hard to tackle Siraj whenever close calls occurred, as the pacer would often find a way to persuade him for a review.

India have flipped the tables on the home side and mean serious business. Securing their first-ever test win at Edgbaston will do their confidence a whole world of good. They will now be heading to the Lord's with a renewed sense of home and optimism. Gill's form has been nothing short of extraordinary, and he will be eyeing another massive run fest to deflate the inexperienced English bowling attack at The Home of Cricket.
