World Cup-winning Indian women’s cricket star Smriti Mandhana is ready to begin a new chapter in her life as she marries music composer Palash Muchhal on Sunday, November 23.

In the days before the wedding, social media has been full of clips from their pre-wedding celebrations. These videos give fans a rare look at Mandhana’s off-field personality. One video that drew the most attention shows the couple performing a lovely choreographed dance.

The clip begins with Smriti placing a garland around Palash’s neck while he bows playfully. This surprised many fans who know her as a quiet and introverted player on the field. The couple then dances to “Tenu Leke” from Salaam-E-Ishq, ending in a romantic pose that received cheers from friends and family.

Another video shows Palash singing the classic song “Gulabi Aankhen Jo Teri Dekhi” for Smriti, while she watches him with a shy smile.

Their Pre-Wedding Moments

Palash wore an all-black outfit for the evening, and Smriti looked stunning in a golden gown. Their chemistry was clear in every moment. Guests also recorded the couple swaying to “Agar Main Kahoon” from Lakshya.

Palash’s sister, singer Palak Muchhal, also shared a sweet photo with the couple, captioned “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge.” In the picture, Smriti looks beautiful in a purple Indo-western gown.

How the Celebrations Began

Their pre-wedding journey started with a fun engagement reveal. Smriti posted a playful Instagram reel with Jemimah Rodrigues and Shreyanka Patil, showing her ring in the final shot. Later, Palash shared a video of his surprise proposal at DY Patil Stadium, a special venue for women’s cricket.

The Haldi and Mehendi ceremonies were full of joy, with teammates like Shafali Verma and Renuka Singh joining the celebrations. A friendly cricket match between “Team Bride” and “Team Groom” added a fun touch — and Smriti’s team won.
