The official promo for the England vs. India Test series has launched. The promo with high-end graphics and background voice-over created the required hype the highly anticipated tournament needs.

India will take the flight to England without Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, both retired from cricket's longest format, which means a possible newly built Team India will take on the host nation, where Team India's past experience was far from illustrious. According to stats displayed on the promo, India in England won only 3 Test matches and was defeated in 14, which is not justifying the caliber of Team India.

The promo video starts with a one-handed stunning catch by a player in a blue jersey, which symbolizes India in limited-over formats, where the team is currently dominating the cricket world, especially after winning the ICC T20I World Cup 2024 under Rohit Sharma's captaincy.

Without Rohit and Virat, BCCI has to find their new leader who can drive the team to new heights. Several names are popping out of the mix for a possible role of Test captaincy, but speculations are suggesting that Shubman Gill may be the person who can be named for the role. BCCI is yet to announce the name of Rohit Sharma's successor in the format. Even in the promo, we can see a character with the name Gill behind the jersey is leading the troop. BCCI can announce the squad for the series soon.
