Watch: Will Jacks falls to Nitish Kumar Reddy after solid start in MI vs SRH IPL 2026 clash
Will Jacks falls after a promising start as Nitish Kumar Reddy provides a crucial breakthrough in Mumbai Indians vs Sunrisers Hyderabad clash in IPL 2026.

The 41st match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 is between the Mumbai Indians (MI) and the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the iconic Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. SRH won the toss and elected to field first. The home team started well after some failed outings. Will Jacks, who played his first game in the IPL 2026, played an incredible knock in the first innings. He got brilliant support from Ryan Rickelton.
Jacks went on to score 46 off 22 balls, including five boundaries and three sixes. It didn't feel like it was his first match, the way he batted for the franchise. He hit some clean shots before Nitish Reddy dismissed him.

Nitish Reddy has been quite helpful for SRH with the ball. Even in the match against CSK, he took some important wickets just like in today's game. He dismissed an in-form batter, Will Jacks and gave the much-needed breakthrough for the team. Jacks was batting on 46 when Reddy got the ball to shape away a touch. While he was trying to drive the ball, the swing helped, and the ball touched the bat and went straight to the wicket-keeper.
The fielding team players were confident that there was a noise that came from the bat, and the umpire confirmed it by raising his finger. It was an interesting ball, and Jacks failed to understand it. MI batters have continued to wreak havoc on the SRH bowlers despite losing wickets at regular intervals.
Brief Scores (at the time of writing): MI- 165/4 (Ryan Rickelton 87*, Nitish Reddy 1/17) vs SRH.
