Yuvraj Singh, the former World Cup winner and the premier spin all-rounder of the Indian cricket team, turned 44 on December 12, 2025. On the eve of the day, he got honoured by a stand at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh, as he turned up to meet the national side, who faced South Africa in the second T20I clash.

On his birthday, a video has gone viral from his father, Yograj Singh’s sports academy, where the southpaw was seen sitting on the ground as the young players came and took his autograph on their bat one by one. There was a moment when one of them tried to take the blessings of Yuvraj Singh, who asked that player not to touch his feet.
