England Champions defeated India Champions by 23 runs in Match 13 of the 2025 World Championship of Legends at Edgbaston, England, to keep themselves in contention for the tournament. England batted first and scored a massive 223/3 in their 20 overs. Ravi Bopara was the star with a brilliant 110 off a mere 55 balls, hitting boundaries all over the field. He was well supported by Ian Bell, who scored a 54 off 39 balls, and Moeen Ali, who added a quick 33 off 13. Indian bowler Harbhajan Singh (2/18) was tight and efficient, while Varun Aaron had just one wicket.

India Champions gave a good fight in the chase but ended on 200/8. Yusuf Pathan played a powerful knock of 52 from 29 balls, supported by captain Yuvraj Singh (38 off 27) and Stuart Binny (35 off 13).
Despite their efforts, England’s bowlers kept the pressure on. Ajmal Shahzad starred with 4/31, while Stuart Meaker (2/55) and Ryan Sidebottom (1/20) played supporting roles. With this win, England moved to 3 points, keeping slim hopes alive for the semifinals, while India remained at the bottom and is now officially eliminated.
