While the Aussies were struggling deeply at 76/7 against Pakistan Women, Beth Mooney and Alana King rescued the Aussies with a stunning record-breaking ninth-wicket partnership.

Pakistan Women stunned the defending champions and record seven-time champions Australia Women in their league stage fixture at the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 at Colombo on Wednesday (October 8), where the Aussies were struggling deeply at 76/7. Meanwhile, King remained not out at 51 runs off 49 balls with three fours and three sixes.
