Pakistan Super League sees Islamabad United take on Peshawar Zalmi on Sunday afternoon in Rawalpindi. Islamabad United has qualified for the playoffs whereas Peshawar Zalmi is in fourth place and has lost two matches in a row after posting scores of 240+. Islamabad United was well beaten by Lahore Qalandars on Thursday but has been playing excellent cricket in the previous matches. They will think they have enough talent in the team to beat Peshawar Zalmi. Peshawar Zalmi has plenty of talent in their side but suddenly is being beaten after hitting scores of 240+. They will need to be at their best if they are to win and secure their place in the playoffs.

In spite of last match, 1st innings being bowled out for 107 from 15.1 overs on Thursday, this is a good batting wicket. We would expect a par score to be near 190 in this match.

Peshawar Zalmi will be able to pull off a win against Islamabad United to secure their place in the last four. The evidence is that they can easily post high scores but keeping the runs down in the field here in Rawalpindi has seemed harder for their bowlers. We think that Islamabad United have a better bowling attack and are backing them to win. Islamabad United needs to win this game and hope for a miracle to qualify for the playoffs but it is unlikely that they will win against the mighty Peshawar Zalmi who have an excellent strategic team under their disposal. Considering the team combination, Islamabad United is expected to win this match.
