The Lucknow Super Giants seem to be having the same old issue again. Runs and intent are a concern with KL Rahul holding the fort but the others not going as smoothly from the other end. The Punjab Kings, too, have some concerns, with Shikhar Dhawan being one of them. Despite being a consistent run-getter, his strike rate up front has been a concern in the last two seasons. They do have some hitters in their line-up, but batting depth has been another concern, leaving Punjab with some concerns.

Venue: Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow
A clear and warm evening is expected at Lucknow.
Dew is likely to play a role at Lucknow. The track though is another one that is likely to be slow. Batting second remains a better choice with dew in mind.

Shikhar Dhawan
Shikhar Dhawan’s strike-rate and intent up front is turning out to be a growing issue. Normally a fast starter against pace, Dhawan has not been racing off the blocks as well as he used to and PBKS will be hoping he finds a way to do so quickly with teams looking to make full use of the first six overs.
Nicholas Pooran
Nicholas Pooran continues to find runs for Lucknow. He had a good time last season and seems to be enjoying his role with a lot of clarity on what is expected of him each time he goes out to bat.

Nicholas Pooran vs Kagiso Rabada: Both Pooran and Rabada can be challenging players to their oppositions, Pooran is coming in after a good knock as well and will be eager to take down Rabada to assert his dominance on the game against his former franchise.
With batting depth a concern, PBKS look slightly short on a few aspects leaving Lucknow as favorites.
