After a tough start to the WPL 2026 season, UP Warriorz finally registered their first win. The team faced Mumbai Indians Women at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai on December 15.

Harleen Deol, who was retired out on the previous night and it cost for UP Warriorz Women, became the hero to secure their first win in the WPL 2026 on Thursday night (January 15), as they beat the defending champions Mumbai India Women by seven wickets with 11 balls remaining.
