Arjun is set to make his debut in the T20 Mumbai League after being declared eligible to participate, despite having represented a different state association in previous seasons. Having played for Goa after moving from Mumbai, he received clearance from the Board of Control for Cricket in India to take part in the tournament, as he had not featured in any state league over the past 12 months.

Arjun Tendulkar Secures ₹10 Lakh Deal in T20 Mumbai League Auction

Arjun Tendulkar witnessed a significant surge in his market value during the T20 Mumbai League auction held on May 2, 2026, in his hometown. The 26-year-old all-rounder emerged as one of the standout names of the day, attracting intense bidding interest and securing a lucrative contract, marking an important milestone in his domestic T20 career.

Entering the auction with a base price of ₹2 lakh, the LSG pacer’s valuation escalated rapidly as multiple franchises competed for his services. The bidding ultimately concluded with ARCS Andheri acquiring him for ₹10 lakh, representing a 400% increase from his initial price.

From a financial standpoint, the deal is particularly noteworthy. Tendulkar’s ₹10 lakh contract in the T20 Mumbai League amounts to approximately 33.3% of his current ₹30 lakh IPL salary with the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). He remains part of the LSG squad for the 2026 season after transitioning from the Mumbai Indians (MI), where he earned the same salary.

At ARCS Andheri, Tendulkar will join a competitive squad featuring prominent domestic and international players. The team includes Indian international Shivam Dube, who played a key role in India’s T20 World Cup triumphs in 2024 and 2026 and has been retained as the franchise’s icon player for ₹20 lakh. Additionally, the squad has been strengthened with the signing of Musheer Khan for ₹11 lakh during the same auction.

Overall, this development underscores Tendulkar’s growing recognition in domestic cricket and highlights a pivotal phase in his professional journey as he prepares to make his debut in the city-based tournament.
