Hosts Bangladesh started the three-match home ODI series with a thumping eight-wicket win against Pakistan on Wednesday (March 11) to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

Pakistan were all out for 114 runs

After Bangladesh chose to field first at Mirpur, Pakistan were bundled out for only 114 runs. It was their lowest ODI total against Bangladesh. Bangladesh pacer Nahid Rana scalped five wickets with the bowling figures of 7-0-24-5, while the spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz got three wickets (10-0-29-3).

Bangladesh chased down target in 15.1 overs

In reply, Bangladesh chased down the target in just 15.1 overs after losing only two wickets. Opener Tanzid Hasan scored 67 not out off 42 balls with seven fours and five sixes.
