The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is facing so much controversy. Earlier, there were player salary problems, and now Indian-origin host Yesha Sagar has suddenly left the league for facing allegations. She was accused of breaking the rules and was given a notice, which led to her decision to leave.Yesha Sagar was working with the Chittagong Kings in the 2025 Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). According to the Bangladeshi news portal Cricket97, team owner Sameer Kader Chowdhury sent her a legal notice, accusing her of breaking contract rules.

Yesha Sagar: From Modeling to Sports Presenting

Yesha Sagar was born and brought up in Punjab, India. In December 2015, she moved to Toronto, Canada, for her studies. Before starting her career as a sports presenter, she worked as a model and actor. She is also a fitness influencer. Over the years, she has hosted several cricket leagues, including the Global T20 Canada, UP T20 League, and Bangladesh Premier League.

Yesha Sagar Gets Legal Notice for Skipping Sponsors' Dinner

Chittagong Kings owner Samir Kader Chowdhury, in the notice, said: “According to clause 9 of the contract, Yesha did not fulfill your duties. You missed the sponsors' dinner despite being officially invited and did not take part in the sponsors' shoot or promotional shout-out. This has caused financial and reputational harm to the team.” Instead of replying to the notice, Sagar decided to leave the tournament completely.
