It is time for the 41st game of the IPL 2026, where Mumbai Indians vs SunRisers Hyderabad (MI vs SRH) match is set to be played on Wednesday night (April 29). Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai is hosting this fixture. It is the fifth match for this venue in the ongoing season, while MI are playing their eighth match of the season, and SRH are playing their ninth game of the tournament. However, it is their first meeting of the season.

The five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians started their IPL 2026 journey with a win against Kolkata Knight Riders at home, which was their first season opener victory since the 2013 edition. However, MI then suffered five defeats in six games, only claiming a win against Gujarat Titans. MI are currently in the ninth position in the IPL 2026 points table with only four points.

On the other hand, the fourth-placed SunRisers Hyderabad have recorded five wins and three losses this season, as the IPL 2016 champions have 10 points after eight games. Although they started the season with only one win in four matches, they then won four successive matches, with the chance of extending this streak to five tonight.

Mumbai Indians won all the last three meetings against SRH. In their last five face-offs, SRH won only once, while MI celebrated four victories, all by successful comfortable chasings.

IPL 2026, Match 41 - MI vs SRH: Toss Update
