The Delhi Capitals ended their losing streak with a commanding victory over the Rajasthan Royals in Match 43 of the Indian Premier League 2026 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. After suffering two narrow defeats, Delhi bounced back strongly, chasing down a formidable target of 226 to register their fourth win of the season. Despite the loss, Rajasthan Royals managed to hold on to the fourth spot, while Delhi Capitals climbed to sixth in the points table.

The match lived up to expectations, delivering a high-scoring contest filled with standout performances. Much of the pre-match attention was on young prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi and his anticipated battle with Mitchell Starc. However, that contest did not fully materialise, as the youngster fell early to Kyle Jamieson. Starc, making his first appearance of the season, made an immediate impact by claiming a crucial three-wicket haul.
