Mumbai Indians are hosting SunRisers Hyderabad on Wednesday night (April 29) in the 41st game of the IPL 2026. The MI squad has some significant changes, while the former captain Rohit Sharma still hasn't returned to the playing squad, experienced South African wicketkeeper-batter Quinton de Kock is also missing the game.

Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai is hosting this crucial fixture. The five-time champions Mumbai Indians are struggling in the ninth position after earning only four points in seven games, as they have lost five out of their last six fixtures. So, the upcoming matches are clearly must-win fixtures for the franchise to stay afloat in the tournament.

At the toss, MI captain Hardik Pandya chose to bat first after winning it. Due to the steady breeze, MI skipper feels that the dew is unlikely to affect the match. While the MI captain confirmed that Rohit Sharma is still in the recovery process, Quinton de Kock is missing due to a sudden injury.
