In Match 21 of the season for the 2025 Major League Cricket (MLC), the Texas Super Kings kept their hot streak going by dominating a 39-run victory over MI New York at Grand Prairie Stadium, Texas. MI New York won the toss and chose to bowl first, but their bowlers were left chasing shadows as TSK's batters delivered a brutal assault to post one of the season’s highest totals.

Faf du Plessis set the tone with a stunning 103 from only 53 balls, underpinning the innings solidly. In response, MI New York could manage only 184/9 on the back of Kieron Pollard's thrilling 70 off 39 deliveries and a good effort from Quinton de Kock (35 off 25). Akeal Hosein bowled brilliantly for Texas, taking 3/15 in four overs, ably supported by Nandre Burger (2/40) and Marcus Stoinis (2/43).
