Pakistan defeated South Africa by six wickets to qualify for the final of the ongoing tri-nation tournament. Chasing 353 runs, they broke several records, including the highest successful run chase in Pakistan’s ODI history. Mohammad Rizwan (122*) and Salman Agha (134) scored a century each and a partnership of 260 runs for the fourth wicket is also the highest for Pakistan in ODI cricket.

South Africa had earlier posted a total of 352/5, making it the second-highest ODI total ever scored against Pakistan. Their batting display was dominant.With this total, South Africa also registered the fourth-highest ODI score at the National Stadium, Karachi, in what was a high-scoring encounter on a batting-friendly surface.

However, Pakistan’s historic run chase came in their efforts, marking a memorable moment in the pakistan cricketing history.
