The LSG pacer, Prince Yadav, used Virat Kohli's own suggestion against him on his dismissal during the LSG vs RCB clash of the Indian Premier League 2026.

When the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) posted a strong score of 209 runs for the loss of three wickets in the 19-over revised contest of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium, they needed a strong start with the ball.

Speaking at the press conference after the end of their nervy nine-run victory, the youngster revealed an interesting story. He commented on how the RCB superstar himself had advised him during the reverse fixture to keep hitting the right length whenever he gets assistance in the surface.
“That was exactly the plan. In fact, after the last match, I was speaking with Virat Bhaiya (my elder brother), and he himself told me this. We talked a lot after that match, and he was telling me that as long as the ball is moving off the length, you shouldn’t abandon your length. That is exactly what I did, and I got the result in the form of a wicket.” Prince said in the press conference.
“Whether it happens in different ways or one way, as a bowler, you do feel good when you take a wicket. But like I said earlier, in that situation we could only win the match by getting that wicket, and that’s exactly what happened. So yes, it feels really good, absolutely.” The Delhi pacer added.
