All 10 franchises instructed to strictly follow updated protocols during IPL 2026
The unknown people can’t be in the hotel rooms of the players and the match officials during the ongoing season, which has prompted the BCCI to remind the sides about the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the competition.
“The Anti-Corruption and Security Unit has flagged certain anomalies and submitted a report about unauthorized persons being seen in the dugout, team bus, and team hotel during IPL matches. Certain protocols under PMOA need to be followed, and the BCCI will be telling the franchises to be mindful of the SOPs so that the sanctity of the tournament is restored.” The IPL chairman, Arun Dhumal, confirmed that the ACSU submitted the report to the BCCI.

So, BCCI and IPL are preparing an advisory, and we are going to release that advisory because we have noticed that there are a lot of unauthorized persons who are moving along with the team members.” Saikia stated.
