Twitter reactions: Razaullah celebrates 43-ball fifty on Test debut vs England

No one believed that Pakistan would be able to put any fight back during the third Test against England at Edgbaston, especially after their defeats in the first two encounters at Headingley and Lord's by massive margins. But they showed courage, more specifically with the century-run ninth wicket stand between Razaullah and Mohammad Abbas. The former celebrated a tremendous fifty off just 43 balls. 

When Razaullah walked out bat, the Test seemed to be moments away from being finished. But the right-handed batter, on debut, had other plans. The visitors were 312/7 before losing another wicket as Mohammad Abbas joined Razaullah in the middle. The latter was on the aggressive mode from the very first ball of his innings.

Razaullah's blazing debut fifty — 5 sixes, 3 fours, and a historic stat

Razaullah continued his superb and aggressive knock with numerous sixes as Gus Atkinson came on his radar from the start of his knock. He went forward and heaved the length ball over the ropes for a massive six. Razaullah again went forward and thumped the right-arm pacer over the long-on region for a massive six.

The 21-year-old, later, picked the length from Jofra Archer and put it miles into the stands to celebrate his fifty off just 43 balls. The home side tried several plans against him, but none of them seemed to working.

The Pakistan youngster was finally dismissed on 81 runs off just 63 deliveries at a strike rate of 128.57, thanks to four boundaries and nine sixes. His partnership of 121 runs off 123 balls for the ninth wicket ended with the dismissal of Mohammad Abbas, whose knock ended with 42 balls off 67 balls, thanks to six boundaries and a pair of sixes.
