The 42nd match of IPL 2025 was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. In this match, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Rajasthan Royals by 11 runs and registered a spectacular victory and got their sixth win this season. Bangalore had set a target of 206 runs in this match in front of Rajasthan Royals. In response, Rajasthan Royals could only score 194 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.

Royal Challengers Bangalore team had a great start and the pair of openers Phil Salt and Virat Kohli made a brilliant partnership of 61 runs in 40 balls in which Phil Salt scored 26 runs and Kohli scored 28 runs.

After Salt was out, Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal made a great partnership and added 95 runs in 51 balls. Devdutt Padikkal scored 50 runs in 27 balls in this match, which included four fours and three sixes. So Virat Kohli played an innings of 70 runs with the help of 8 fours and two sixes in 42 balls.
At the same time, Tim David scored 23 runs in 15 balls and Jitesh Sharma scored 20 runs in 10 balls. In this match, Sandeep Sharma took two wickets for 45 runs in four overs from the Rajasthan Royals team. Apart from this, Jofra Archer and Hasaranga took one wicket each.

Rajasthan Royals team scattered once again in run chase
