SCL 2025, Match 8: Amo Sharks vs Mis-e-Ainak Knights full match highlights

In Match 8 of the 2025 Shpageeza Cricket League (SCL), Mis-e-Ainak Knights defeated Amo Sharks by 5 wickets at the Kabul International Cricket Stadium. After losing the toss and being asked to bowl first, the Knights restricted the Sharks to 162 all out in 19.4 overs. In response, Mis-e-Ainak easily chased down the target to finish with 168/5 in 17 overs and secure their third victory of the year.

Amo Sharks batted first and made 162 all out in 19.4 overs, which was a good score. Hassan Eisakhel, the opening batter, was the star of the innings, scoring 52 off 36 balls, with Shahidullah Kamal scoring 45 off 36 balls to hold down the middle overs. Imran Mir supported the scoring streak with 24 runs off 14 balls. However, the Mis-e-Ainak Knights’ bowlers kept striking at regular intervals, led by pacer Naveed Zadran, who returned impressive figures of 4/21 in his four overs. Khalil Gurbaz also chipped in with 3/33, and Mujeeb-ur-Rahman took 2/29, dismantling the Sharks’ lower order and restricting them to a chasable total.

In response, the Knights made short work of the chase, reaching 168/5 in just 17 overs. Khalid Taniwal played a match-winning knock of 56 off just 27 balls, dominating the opposition bowlers. Wafiullah continued his excellent run with a quickfire 49 off 21 balls, setting the tone early. Rahmanullah Gurbaz added a steady 28 from 20 balls at the top. Despite Qais Ahmad’s 2/43 and some resistance from Aftab Alam (1/27), the Knights’ batting firepower proved too much as they cruised to a 5-wicket victory.
