Band-e-Amir Dragons beat Speen Ghar Tigers by 12 runs in the 7th match of the 2025 Shpageeza Cricket League (SCL) played at the Kabul International Cricket Stadium. Batting first, the Dragons managed a competitive score of 192/5 in 20 overs on the back of a smooth 75 from 47 deliveries by Sediqullah Atal. Mohammad Shahzad added 39 off 32 balls, while skipper Hashmatullah Shahidi chipped in with 30 off 22. Despite Shams UR Rahman Karokhil’s impressive 3/42, Speen Ghar Tigers struggled to contain the scoring in the death overs.

In reply, Speen Ghar Tigers started well, led by a solid 51 off 33 from Ikram Alikhil and a quickfire 46 from Darwish Rasooli.
Captain Rahmat Shah also chipped in with 44 off 36 deliveries. The chase, however, fell apart due to being pressured by stern bowling spells, notably Izharulhaq Naveed (3/28) and Gulbadin Naib (1/25), who dominated the run rate in the middle overs. Tigers scored 180/9 in their complete quota in the end, short by 12 runs.

This win brought Band-e-Amir Dragons to the head of the table with a second win in three matches and with some excellent all-around form. Speen Ghar Tigers Speen Ghar Tigers, despite good individual performances, were left looking for answers as they slipped further in the standings.
