Not the first time: Afridi previously slapped a fan at Karachi airport in 2012

It hasn’t been the first such incident when Afridi has been involved in slapping a fan. The same altercation took place after the player spoke to the media and praised Bangladesh for their outstanding performance in the Asia Cup 2012 final. The footage shows Afridi heading for a waiting car when he was attacked by the young fans.

Afridi then pointed his finger at another man before his brother stepped in. He later reported that he had lost his temper because his young daughter had been pushed to the ground.
