South Africa have made a single change to their large squad from the opening Test of the three-match series, dropping Tristan Stubbs after one game for in-form ODI star Matthew Breetzke, who celebrated a century against Australia in the ODI series at Kingsmead in Durban.

During the opening game of the series, the home side went behind by a 0-1 margin and was defeated by 214 runs. In the first innings, Matt Renshaw’s superb knock of 190 runs set the stage for the visitors before Josh Hazlewood’s six-wicket haul earned them the victory.

The second Test of the series will be played at the St George’s Park in Gqeberha as the game begins at 1:30 pm IST. Kagiso Rabada, having missed the first Test of the series, is expected to return to the second game’s playing XI. Kyle Verreynne will relinquish the gloves to Ryan Rickelton.

Josh Inglish returns to the squad after returning home to Perth with a broken finger. He looks to be ticking all the boxes in his return to full fitness, as Cameron Green is the big watch as he recovers from an abdominal strain.
