Batting sensation Virat Kohli’s childhood coach, Rajkumar Sharma, has expressed confidence that Virat will do well in India’s upcoming ODI series against Australia, where he loves to play and score runs. He also thinks that Virat Kohli is above to prove his worth as he has achieved almost everything in International cricket. 

He also believes that Virat’s preparation for the series is up to the mark and will put up a stellar performance. This series will be Virat’s comeback to the side after a glorious Champions Trophy campaign and Test retirement.

After the Champions Trophy, when fans were excited to see their favourite player in Whites, Virat shocked his worldwide fans by announcing his retirement from his favourite format. Through his social media, Virat announced it through a heartwarming message where he remembered his 14 glorious years in Test Cricket with unforgettable memories.

Rajkumar Sharma on People’s Exceptions From Virat Kohli:

While speaking to ANI, Rajkumar Sharma shared his thoughts on Virat Kohli’s most-awaited return to cricket after a long hiatus. He is fully assured that the star batter is fully prepared, motivated and excited to wear the Jersey again and perform on Australian soil.

He said, “ Virat doesn't have to prove anything, he has achieved everything, the way he has played, the way he has won the matches for the country, everyone knows his contribution. He is well prepared, and whenever he is well prepared, the results are always good, and I have full faith that he will do well as usual.”

After becoming only one format player, there are a lot of rumors that this series can be Virat's last International tour and series. Despite all these rumors, he always expressed his wish to play the 2027 ODI World Cup, but nothing is guaranteed in sports.

Rajkumar Sharma praised two of India's batting pillars, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, for their precious contribution, which spoke for itself. He also said that players on their caliber don't need to prove their worth as they have already created their legacy with their glorious performances.

He added, “ I would like to say that both of them are great players, and they have nothing left to prove, because the whole of India knows their contribution to Indian cricket, so if they have to prove themselves at this stage, then it will be a very funny thing.”
