Here is the list of the players who won the Man of the Series award in their debut series of the T20I cricket as it is included of the Ireland left-arm pacer, Jai Moondra, against India in 2026.

Winning the Player of the Series award isn’t an easy job for any player in the shortest format of the game, especially in the modern era when the game’s momentum can change at any moment. And to do so in a debut series is exceptional and shows the calibre of it. The new debutant, Ireland’s left-arm pacer Jai Moondra, has registered his name on that list.
The Rajasthan-born pacer made his debut in the recent T20I series at home against India, which they went on to win by a 2-0 margin. That included their first-ever international victory over the blue brigade, and Moondra, with some special bowling performances, got his name in the history book.
From India, only one player has been able to achieve the success as far as the record being available. But quite shockingly, Sran would go on to never play another T20I series for India.

There were very few players, in terms of the data being available, who have been able to win the Man of the Series award in their debut T20I series. Here is a list including Ireland’s Moondra-
#1 Jai Moondra (Ireland)-

In the first T20I of the two-match series between Ireland and India at the Civil Service Cricket Club in Belfast, the left-arm pacer, Jai Moondra, made his debut on the back of his strong performance in domestic cricket.
Defending a decent score of 182 runs against a strong batting line-up of the Indian side, the pacer ended with figures of 2/25 in four overs at an economy rate of 6.25. This included two wickets of Sanju Samson and Shivam Dube. The former got a thick inside edge onto the stumps while Dube gave a leading edge back to the bowler, who dived forward in the follow-through to grab the ball.

Two days later, he improved his performance even more and returned with figures of 3/32 in his four overs, including the double-wicket over against Samson and Abhishek Sharma.
“Still trying to sink in the feeling. I know it’s hard to describe in one word. It’s an amazing feeling playing against the best, testing yourself. So just doing the basics for longer, that was the plan. Credit to team members and management. Keep it simple.” He said on winning the award.
#2 Barinder Sran (India)-

In IPL 2014, for the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Barinder Sran enjoyed a special performance with 14 wickets in 14 innings at an economy rate of 8.34. He didn’t feature in the first game before making his debut in the second at the Harare Sports Club. None of the Zimbabwe batters had any answer to Sran’s left-arm pace as he returned with figures of 4/10 in four overs at an economy rate of 2.50. The home side was restricted to 99/9 at the end of their 20 overs.
Two days later, the Indian pacer continued the superb show with the ball and ended with figures of 2/31 in four overs, including a maiden. Those two wickets were Chamu Chibhabha and Elton Chigumbura as India won the series 2-1.

With the ball, at the Kensington Oval in Barbados, Shadab returned with figures of 3/7 in his four overs. Those three wickets included Chadwick Walton, Lendl Simmons, and Sunil Narine.
