On April 25, against Rawalpindi, the experienced batter came to bat as the number seven batter of the team and played a blistering 70-run knock from 37 balls. His innings was laced with eight 4s and three 6s. After a long time, cricket fans got to watch the talismanic cricketer’s flowing batting. Usman Khan and Kusal Perera registered half-centuries each as well to secure a massive total of 244 runs in the first innings.

Rawalpindi, another new team in PSL 2026, was restricted to only 136 runs. Maxwell took the wicket of Mohammad Amir and concluded his 4-over spell with an economy rate of 6.25.
