In the Peshawar Zalmi vs Lahore Qalandars match, the 38th match of the PSL 2026, Qalandars fast bowler Haris Rauf took an important wicket by dismissing the set opposition batter Babar Azam. After taking that crucial wicket, Rauf sent a calm flying kiss to his Pakistan teammate. 

Babar Azam was playing a crucial innings at that time, while his third-wicket partnership with Michael Bracewell was moving towards a century partnership. On the first ball of the 16th over, Haris Rauf took his first wicket of the match by dismissing Babar. The former Pakistan captain was bowled for 59 off 45 balls with five fours and one six. 

After that dismissal, Rauf had a little smile and sent a flying kiss to his national teammate. That wicket brought some relief for Lahore Qalandars, who were desperately looking to break that partnership. Babar and Bracewell had a 94-run partnership for the third wicket before Rauf took that wicket.

Captain Babar Azam controlled innings with Michael Bracewell

After Lahore Qalandars chose to field first at Lahore, Zalmi lost their first two wickets for 36 runs in 4.3 overs. While the opener James Vince was dismissed for 10 runs, Kusal Mendis was out for seven runs. However, Babar and Bracewell controlled the innings with a solid third-wicket partnership

Haris Rauf bowled both Babar and Bracewell

Haris Rauf dismissed both the set batters Babar and Bracewell. After he bowled Babar in the 16th over for 59 runs, Bracewell charged the Qalandars' bowlers. In the final over of the innings, Rauf bowled Bracewell for 83 off 45 balls, as the New Zealand batter hit eight fours and four sixes. At the end of 20 overs, Zalmi scored 199/4, while Rauf had the bowling figures of 4-0-46-2. In reply, Qalandars chased down the target in 19.3 overs after losing four wickets.
